What is Mechanical Protection?

Last updated Jan 31, 2025

Mechanical Protection is designed to offer extra coverage for defects for your device—once your warranty offered by Rolle expires— against hardware malfunctions and electrical failures that occur naturally over time. Unlike Accident Protection, this plan does not cover accidental damage—instead, it ensures that if your phone stops working due to an internal defect, you’ll be covered.

You should keep in mind that there’s a service fee for repair claims. After your claim is accepted, you’ll need to pay with a valid credit or debit card before service or reimbursement is provided. The fee amount will be based on your smartphone’s characteristics (Apple, or Android, or Foldable) and type of damage. For complete details, see our Terms and Conditions.

What Does Mechanical Protection Cover?

This plan is perfect for users who don’t worry about drops and spills, but want protection against technical failures that happen due to wear and tear or factory defects.

The plan does not cover theft, loss, intentional damage, normal wear and tear or unauthorized repairs. For full exclusions, see our Terms and Conditions.
